- Spread evenly, avoiding over-saturation.
- TIP: Use Subscribe & Save to keep Castor Oil delivered on your schedule—so your self-care never skips a beat.
Place & Secure Your Pack
- Position the pack over your liver area (right side of your abdomen, below your ribcage).
- Adjust the straps for a secure, comfortable fit.
- TIP: Anchor your practice to something you already do—like watching a show, journaling, or reading before bed.
Wear & Relax
- Wear your pack for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
- Use this time to unwind, meditate, or enjoy a moment of stillness.

Can I wear it if I'm pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum or on my period?
Pregnancy: As a precaution, Castor Oil Packs should be avoided during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding/Postpartum: Castor Oil Packs can be safely used postpartum and during breastfeeding.
Menstruation: Contrary to popular belief, Castor Oil Packs CAN be worn during your period. However, if it's your first time ever doing a Castor Oil Pack, you may want to wait until the end of your period to begin.
Should I wash the Liver Pack?
We recommend not washing it after use with Castor Oil. Washing can spread oil to the outer “less mess” layer and reduce the life of your pack.
Want to keep it cleaner, longer?
Use a 100% Organic Cotton Insert inside your pack. It absorbs excess oil and can be washed more frequently. We suggest having two Inserts, so you can rotate them and keep your routine going without interruption.
If you must wash your oily Castor Oil Pack:
- Soak in warm water with baking soda and natural dish soap.
- Hand wash gently, rinse well, and lay flat to dry.
- Do not machine wash or dry an oily pack—it could damage your washer.
BEFORE First-Use Dishwasher Method:
- Put your Liver Pack in your dishwasher, securing it by tying the straps to the inner rack.
- Run your dishwasher with a natural dishwashing soap/puck.
- Remove from the dishwasher, using an old tea towel, roll it up in the towel to blot and press out any oil residue.
- Hang to dry!
