It should never feel tight. Loosen the straps until it rests lightly and you can breathe and swallow comfortably.
No. The pack comes on its own, so you can choose the oil that suits you. Our Golden Castor Oil Roll-On and 500 mL bottle are both 20% off when you add them with your pack.
No. The outer layer holds in your own body warmth, so there is no heating pad to set up.
It is far less messy than a DIY flannel pack, but castor oil is still oil. Wear an old T-shirt over it, and use 1 to 2 tablespoons without soaking the cotton.
Most women begin with 7 evenings in a row, then settle into 3 to 5 times a week. Wear it for an hour or overnight.
Replace it after about 60 uses. Between uses, fold it into its bag or hang it somewhere clean, dry and breathable.
Wash it before your first use. After that, do not wash it, as washing spreads the oil into the outer layer.
Please avoid castor oil packs during pregnancy, as a precaution. They can be used postpartum, while breastfeeding and during your period. If you have questions about your health, talk with your practitioner first.
The cotton holds the oil against your skin, so we use only unbleached, 100% organic cotton. We do not recommend bamboo or velour, which are more heavily processed.
