    Love castor oil

    I bought the smaller bottle to give with the rose quartz roller as Christmas gifts for my family. Just love to use after I shower to keep my skin nice and soft.

    Very comfortable

    It is a very comfortable mask. The only downside is if you use it for sleeping it let's in a lot of light.

    Is this the right mask?

    I must say I haven't used this mask yet. I am still awaiting some advice from customer service. It's been 4 weeks and I'm not sure I will get a response. I read this mask says to put in the refrigerator or freezer, and there is no mention of putting castor oil on it. It looks like there was an older version for castor oil in some videos. But this one has the metal studs and appears to focus on meditation. I wanted the mask for castor oil and night time use. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Does Castor Oil need to be in a glass bottle?

Yes, Castor Oil should ALWAYS be bottled in glass! Why? Because glass preserves, whereas plastic bottles may leach hormone-disrupting compounds into Castor Oil that may be carried into the body.

Can I just drink Castor Oil?

When taken orally, Castor Oil is a stimulant laxative that can cause cramping and make you rush to go to the bathroom. Queen of the Thrones® Castor Oil is for topical use only.

Is Castor Oil comedogenic?

Simply put: Castor Oil will probably not clog your pores. You see, Castor Oil has a comedogenic rating of 0-1. This means it is non-comedogenic and most likely will not clog your pores or cause skin irritation.

What’s the difference between Golden Castor Oil and Jamaican Black Castor Oil?

Golden Castor Oil is pure and slightly golden in color, while Jamaican Black Castor Oil is darker because of ash produced in the process of roasting the castor beans. This roasting process uses heat and promotes an alkaline pH but may destroy some of Black Castor Oil’s nutrients. The different pH levels between Golden Castor Oil and Black Castor Oil may be more beneficial to different skin types and hair types.

How should I store my Castor Oil?

Castor Oil is a very stable oil therefore it can be kept at room temperature. Never store your oil in a plastic bottle. Only store Castor Oil in GLASS. Avoid pre-combining with other skin oils or essential oils to maintain integrity of the oil.
